Since the late 1970s, Peter Goodacre has been filling dancefloors with his selection of current and classic hits. Starting off way back in 1978 as one of Cape Town's busiest mobile and club DJs, Peter presided over hundreds of events ranging from huge corporate launches, to weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more!
In the mid 1980s, Peter joined the onair team as a DJ at Radio Good Hope,
earning the nickname “The Hitman” due to his lively presentation of the
legendary “Number 1 Hit Show”, which turned many a Saturday night
braai into a party. As a local radio personality Peter was also in demand
as an MC at events such as the annual Design for Living and Motor
expos at the Good Hope Centre.
After 8 years at Radio Good Hope, he left to operate his own recording
facility and also freelanced as a voice artist and actor for numerous radio
and TV commercials, corporate videos and films. He also performed as a
one-man-band in many of Cape Town’s most popular live-music venues.
In the late 1990’s he joined KFM as a presenter and for two years was
again a popular voice on Cape Town’s airwaves.
Now “The Hitman” is available for your function. He has a huge collection
